Easter Egg Hunt

With all the chaos of her birthday party being the day before Easter, we postponed Brae's first official egg hunt a few weeks.  She really seemed to enjoy looking for the eggs and finding a little surprise in each!

I'm 2!! (and I still love Elmo)

Brae had a wonderful 2nd birthday party with lots of friends, a bounce house and elmo everywhere!  The weather cooperated so the kids could be outside!  The bubble table was also a huge hit!

Grandma and I also made Elmo cupcakes - who knew we could be so crafty!!  I was also given these awesome Elmo cake pops for Braelyn - so sweet and they were SO tasty!!

One thing that makes Brae laugh uncontrollably, is to pretend she is a lion!  Here she is cracking herself up! 

Jumping Beans

Brae and Emma had lots of fun on the kiddie slide at Jumping Beans...they were fearless trying to run up the slide and catch each other coming down!

NHL All Star Weekend

Brae and I went downtown for the NHL All Star Weekend that was held here in Raleigh in January - we went to their fan fair which was held in our convention center, and met Rob, Michelle and Emma there too.  Brae was freaked out by all the mascots, but LOVED the loud music and kept stopping to dance!!

Elmo

Braelyn is currently obsessed with Elmo.  Its one of the few words that she repeats and when she sees anything Elmo related, she gets so excited!!  I took this video one night at dinner, when she kept yelling Elmo's name...too cute!  (of course, we were not discouraging her from doing this!!)

New Years Eve with Skylar

Brae (and we) celebrated new years eve with Skylar and they had lots of fun playing in the ball pit!! 

Brae also liked pulling Skylar around on her new princess mobile!

Great Grandma Steele's Christmas Party

We also celebrated at Great Grandma Steele's house and she puts a stool in the center of the room, for people to sit on when they open up gifts.  Braelyn loved being on the stool and was 'fighting' with Mckayla for the prime spot!!

My first carousel ride

While we were in indiana, we took Braelyn for her first carousel ride.  She was initially very scared of it, but by the time we finished the ride, she wanted to go back on with Grandma and Grandpa!

Christmas in Indiana

We had a wonderful christmas, visiting with Grandma and Grandpa Miller, Aunt Mimi, Uncle Corey and some fun play time with Greysen!  We hoped for some play time in the snow but it snowed more in North Carolina (while we were gone) than in Indiana!!  Oh well! 

Greysen and Brae loved opening up the gifts, although I'm not sure Brae really understood why - but she loved ripping off the paper!
